Terms of service
The ground rules.
These terms govern your use of AgentScribe. The most important part: you are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording, and AI answers are assistance, not professional advice. Last updated 4 July 2026.
1. Acceptance & eligibility
By creating an account or using AgentScribe you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. AgentScribe is operated by Agent Core Systems, a proprietorship registered in India ("we", "us").
2. What the service does
AgentScribe transcribes meeting audio in real time and uses AI to surface answers, summaries, and minutes. It runs on your device and does not join your calls as a participant or bot.
3. Your responsibility to obtain consent
Recording and transcribing conversations is regulated differently across countries and regions, and many require the consent of all participants. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply to you and for obtaining any consent required before recording. You agree not to use AgentScribe to record anyone unlawfully.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use AgentScribe for anything unlawful, to record without required consent, to violate a third party's rights, to cheat where prohibited by an institution's or employer's rules, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully.
6. Prepaid minutes & payment
AgentScribe is prepaid: you buy minutes that are credited to your balance and never expire. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Prices may change, but changes never affect minutes already purchased.
7. AI answers are not professional advice
The transcript and AI answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong. They are provided for assistance only and are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Verify anything important before relying on it. You are responsible for how you use the output.
8. Your data
We store meeting text (not raw audio) and delete it per your retention setting, as described in our Privacy & Data Retention page. You can delete any meeting, or your account, at any time.
9. Service availability
We provide the service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify or discontinue features.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agent Core Systems is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on AI output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
11. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India.
